My first time using Splunk

Hi, this is Gab. This is my first time using Splunk, a SIEM tool. Right now I'm in the process of learning cyber security. I am following Google Professional Cybersecurity Course. Check it out, it's free and really good.

In this activity, I am tasked with uploading and retrieving data from splunk. Honestly it feels like SQL. The query is very straightforward and really powerful with the amount of filtering you could do. The dashboard is also very easy to learn and use. The data is presented nicely in the form of graphs and tables.

All in all, Splunk is a great SIEM tool. It's really easy to use and really powerful. I love it and I think everyone who wants to learn cybersecurity should know or at least have an idea about it.
